Tangerine (spec work)
Role: Creative Strategy
Canada's first online only, no-fee bank, Tangerine is the ideal bank for Gen Z, who are looking less for bells and whistles than they are for convenient, low cost banking. However, with 65% of them still at their parent's bank, it was evident that they needed to see a good reason to switch. Because banking is a relationship; serious and long term. Our key insight, that our target feels stuck in their (current) toxic banking relationship, but won't switch due to their belief of all banks being the same, led to our campaign. Using a three stage framework reminiscent of a relationship, we showed them just why Tangerine is for them, modern day romance style.
